\(^0^)/
Yaaaaay last weekend was my birthday and it was very VERY special. I’ll start with the most special part:
Ward and I got engaged! Yaaaaaaaaaaaay we’re so happy :D And I love love love the ring, it’s so beautiful!
But my birthday was also very special because I got to celebrate it with Wards family too! It was a fantastic weekend. We had dinner in ” Kitamura”, which is a michilin-starred sukiyaki restaurant that opened its doors in 1881. We got a private room, and a really sweet Japanese lady made our dinner right at the table.
Sukiyaki is a dish where meat and vegetables are slowly cooked in a pot and when ready, you dip them in a sauce of raw eggs. It was so extremely delicious, the beef was of high quality and since the Japanese woman arranged everything, it all was perfectly cooked.
It was really a fantastic dinner!!
After this amazing dinner we went for a night of real karaoke :D
The next day, my “official” birthday, the sun was shining and we explored Osaka.
Osaka Castle never fails to impress me :p
In shinsekai, we noticed a cunning resemblance between Ben and the towns mascot Billiken hahaha;
We then went to the Expo park (the same park I went exactly one year ago on my birthday,,, it”s becoming a tradition!). This park has a huge statue of the ” sungod”;
The most beautiful part of Osaka has to be the flower hill;
But let’s not forget: It was also the birthday of my sweet twinsister!! I sent her this photo of our faces, put together. We don’t really look like each other in real life, but this image shows that we certainly are twins! :D
