Last month we visited the Horie Orgel museum near Osaka to enjoy fresh Dutch Stroopwafels and a tour through the amazing collection of music boxes collected by Mitsuo Horie. The collection is located in a beautiful house in the mountains of Kobe and Osaka, with a spectacular view over the city and a lovely Japanese garden. The music box collection was fantastic and we really recommend visiting this beautiful little museum!
The view from the second floor is amazing!
and the stroopwafels were delicous ^^
When we visited the momiji (Japanese maple trees) were exploding with red colors. The beautiful garden of the Horie museum was also a fantastic momiji spot!

It was really nice to meet up with Dutch people, eat Dutch food and see this amazing collection of mostly Dutch music boxes so close to where we now live :-) The museum reminded us of the Utrecht Museum Speelklok!
