Now some looks into the beautiful colorful life of Hong Kong! It is an amazing vibrant city, and wow do we want to come back here again!

During our stay, we went to some of the most amazing restaurants. One was on the 102nd floor overviewing the city!!! At first, we were literally up in the clouds, and as the evening progressed the weather slowly cleared up and revealed the amazing city below. I will never forget that dinner!

Instead of wines, our dinner was paired with aged teas that tasted amazing.

This dinner was at the top of this megabuilding!:

And while we’re at the dinner topic, we managed to also book a three michelin star sushi lunch… And it was the best food I have eaten in my life, from the ambience, to the look, smell, texture, temperature and taste. It was unforgettable. We had some Japanese conversations with the chef as well!

But seriously, all the food in Hong Kong is AMAZING. We had the best dumplings for a few dollars, or a michelin starred noodle bowl for five. Every corner has the best food places and I miss it so much already.

We wandered around a lot in Central, on the island opposite of Kowloon, which is the more modern and business part of Hong Kong. It is built right up a mountain, and so has many elevation. Traversing this as a pedestrian is solved by stairs, but this being Hong Kong, also with endless escalators!

So cool! The city basically has different walking levels. Around it are many shops, restaurants and markets. You can walk around for hours and hours (which we did)

The city isn’t just shops and apartments, there are temples as well, and many many parks. There is so much green and birdlife in Hong Kong that I dedicated a separate post to it!

Because Hong Kong is divided by a big river, a lot of the transport is by ferry, and ofcourse we took one too!

The city is just an amazing site and we would walk on the riverside each morning.

Waking up each morning with a view like this:
